“I lived at the Chalfonte for 6 years, from 2009-2015. My one bedroom apartment was in great condition, and spacious. It had a large living room, and the largest bedroom and closet that I ever had in DC. My apartment was not newly-renovated, but had an older building charm that I enjoyed, and was well-maintained. I had only minor maintenance issues throughout that time, the sorts of things you get in any apartment building, and management always took care of them promptly. Often I would stop by the office on my way to work in the morning and mention a problem, and by the time I returned in the evening it had been taken care of. Everybody that I had occasion to speak to in the front office staff was friendly and helpful. Far and away the best management I've ever had with any apartment, in a terrific building, and I would probably never have left if I wasn't obliged to move across the country. Easily recommended.”
